As the clock springs forward and the days grow longer, here at Educators of America we look forward to the different ways we can connect with our community, whether they be local or national. This summer, thanks to the wonderful members of the Joe Lang Foundation, Educators of America is being given the chance to help students right in our backyard.
This year’s Joe Lang Foundation Golf Tournament will be raising funds for Educators of America’s constant goal of increasing student achievement!
Some readers may recall last year’s successful collaborative effort which led to 2 donations of mobile computer labs to Cheektowaga Central Middle School as well as Lackawanna Middle School, and it’s this momentum that we want to build on. We are planning to donate another lab to a local school with the help of the Joe Lang Foundation and increase computer access and student achievement for underprivileged youth in Western New York.
So with that said, please join us on Friday, July 28th for the 8th Annual “Putting Kids First” Golf Tournament. We will be hosting the tournament at Rothland Golf Course in Akron, NY with a 1pm shotgun start. Tickets per golfer will be $125 per person, which includes beverages and refreshments all day long, a lunch and steak dinner. If you cannot attend, please visit Educators of America or Joe Lang Foundation to support our cause and put kids first.
